Navajo Nation supports bill to replace Columbus Day with “Indigenous Peoples’ Day

Navajo Nation President Jonathan Nez and Vice President Myron Lizer issued several letters of support to members of Congress last week, supporting a new bill introduced by U.S. Sens. Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) and Ben Ray Luján (D-N.M.), and U.S. Rep.
