Acting Attorney General Matthew Whitaker Delivers Remarks on the Importance of a Lawful Immigration System

On behalf of President Donald Trump, I want to thank all of the law enforcement officers who are here today. As he showed clearly on Friday at our Project Safe Neighborhoods Conference, the President supports law enforcement 100 percent. Under his strong leadership, we are restoring the rule of law in this country.  And let me make one thing explicitly clear: that means that we are restoring the rule of law to our Borders and to our immigration system.
