Deputy Assistant Attorney General Alexander Okuliar Delivers Remarks at the Intellectual Property Rights Policy Advisory Group Meeting

Thank you for inviting me to speak at this meeting of the Intellectual Property Rights Policy Advisory Group and for that kind introduction.[1]  I am happy to address the role of antitrust law in standards development.  Today, I would like to focus on some key accomplishments of the Antitrust Division over the last year as they relate to antitrust law, intellectual property, and standards, as well address the importance of openness, balance, and transparency in standards development.
