Justice Department Reaches Agreement with City of Springfield to Reform Police Department’s Unconstitutional Practices

The Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division and the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Massachusetts today filed a complaint and a proposed consent decree with the City of Springfield, Massachusetts, to resolve its investigation of the Springfield Police Department’s Narcotics Bureau.
