Fruitland man faces federal assault charge

Anderson Buck, 39, of Fruitland, New Mexico, and an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation, made an initial appearance in federal court on Nov. 25 where he was charged by criminal complaint with assault resulting in serious bodily injury in Indian Country.
